The npm package 'checkout-post-installment-client-agreement-accept-am' version 35.2.3 contains malicious code that executes remote payloads during installation. It fetches platform-specific binaries from attacker-controlled Cloudflare Workers hostnames and fallback DNS-TXT channels, writes them to temporary files with disguised names, sets executable permissions, and runs them with the installer's privileges. A secondary dropper is hidden under an 'Analytics SDK' facade, using obfuscated code to perform similar remote code execution. This behavior enables arbitrary code execution on the host system at install time.
