Malicious code in claims-api-adapters (npm) 0 The npm package 'claims-api-adapters' version 35.7.8 contains malicious code that executes an opaque native binary fetched from Cloudflare Workers. This binary is written to disguised temporary files and executed detached from the importing process, using platform-specific endpoints and fallback DNS TXT channels to retrieve payloads. The malicious behavior triggers on any import of the package, with opt-out only possible via specific environment variables. The package masquerades as an SDK adapter but performs unauthorized code execution on the host system. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/05/2026, 14:06:26 UTC Added: 08/05/2026, 15:31:00 UTC |
