Malicious code in cobrowsing-cobrowsing-core (npm) 0 The npm package cobrowsing-cobrowsing-core version 35.5.8 is a malicious package acting as a binary dropper disguised as a platform core package. Upon being imported or required, it downloads attacker-controlled payloads specific to the host platform from Cloudflare Workers domains, writes them to temporary directories, sets executable permissions, and executes them without any signature or hash verification. It also includes a fallback covert delivery mechanism via DNS TXT records. This behavior results in arbitrary code execution on the host system when the package is installed and loaded.
