The npm package delivery-ci-tech-holder version 35.3.4 contains malicious code that, upon being required, downloads and executes a platform-specific binary from suspicious external hosts. The binary is saved to temporary system directories with filenames mimicking legitimate system components and executed without verification, allowing code execution with the installer's privileges. The package uses obfuscation techniques such as string-split reassembly and DNS-TXT fallback to evade static detection.
