Malicious code in devplatform-cli-spa (npm) 0 The devplatform-cli-spa npm package version 35.7.8 contains malicious code that downloads and executes a native binary payload based on the operating system and architecture. The payload is fetched from obfuscated Cloudflare Workers hostnames and a DNS TXT base64 fallback, then saved to temporary directories and executed with elevated permissions. The malware uses runtime string assembly to evade static detection and employs decoy filenames and execution gating to avoid repeated runs across installs.
