Malicious code in devplatform-i18n (npm) 0 The devplatform-i18n npm package version 35.6.2 contains malicious code that loads and executes platform-specific payloads from remote hosts. The package fetches executable code over HTTPS and via DNS TXT record chunks, writes it to temporary system directories, sets executable permissions, and spawns it detached from the main process. The code uses obfuscation techniques such as string concatenation and array joins to hide dangerous API calls and destination hosts. This behavior enables remote code execution on affected systems.
