Malicious code in devplatform-jscodeshift-utils (npm) 0 The npm package devplatform-jscodeshift-utils version 35.3.8 contains malicious code that executes attacker-controlled native payloads on the developer's machine. Upon loading, the package silently downloads a platform-specific payload from hardcoded Cloudflare Workers hostnames or fallback domains, writes it to a temporary location, sets executable permissions, and runs it detached. The package attempts to evade detection by reconstructing hostnames at runtime and using filenames resembling legitimate telemetry artifacts.
