Malicious code in devplatform-nx-react (npm) 0 The npm package devplatform-nx-react version 35.9.4 contains malicious code that fetches and executes an attacker-controlled binary upon loading. The malicious loader evades static analysis by dynamically assembling hostnames and retrieving a payload from multiple fallback domains. The payload is saved to a temporary path, made executable, and launched detached on both Unix and Windows systems. This behavior is unrelated to the package's stated purpose and lacks any integrity verification or publisher control.
