The devplatform-nx-spa npm package version 35.8.7 contains malicious code that, upon requiring the package, downloads a native binary from Cloudflare Workers subdomains or reconstructs it from DNS TXT records if HTTPS fails. This binary is saved to temporary directories with obfuscated filenames, given executable permissions, and executed detached from the main process. The package uses runtime string assembly to evade static analysis and employs a state file to conceal its activity. A related telemetry module exists but is unreferenced in this version.
