Malicious code in devplatform-rest-resources-v1 (npm) 0 The npm package devplatform-rest-resources-v1 version 35.2.3 contains malicious code that, upon being required, downloads and executes a native binary from attacker-controlled infrastructure. This binary is fetched from Cloudflare Workers subdomains with a DNS TXT fallback, saved to temporary directories under disguised names, and executed detached with suppressed output. The package uses obfuscation techniques to evade static detection and presents the payload as diagnostic or analytics files without signature verification or version pinning.
