Malicious code in devplatform-spa-cli (npm) 0 The devplatform-spa-cli npm package version 35.9.2 contains malicious code that automatically downloads and executes a binary payload from anonymous Cloudflare Workers subdomains and fallback DNS TXT records. The payload is saved to temporary directories with disguised filenames, given executable permissions, and launched without user interaction. This behavior occurs immediately when the module is required, with no integrity checks on the downloaded payload. The malicious code uses obfuscation techniques to evade static detection.
