Malicious code in devplatform-spa-plugin-ability (npm) 0 The npm package devplatform-spa-plugin-ability version 35.5.2 contains malicious code that downloads and executes a platform-specific native binary from anonymous Cloudflare Workers hosts. This binary is fetched using obfuscated runtime-assembled hostnames and a DNS-TXT covert channel fallback. The payload is written to disguised file paths with executable permissions and launched without any signature verification. The package includes decoy telemetry files and environment variable checks to mislead analysis. Installing or requiring this package results in execution of attacker-controlled code on the host system.
