Malicious code in devplatform-spa-plugin-notifier (npm) 0 The devplatform-spa-plugin-notifier npm package version 35.5.7 contains malicious code that, upon module load, downloads and executes an opaque binary from hardcoded Cloudflare Workers subdomains and fallback domains. The binary is saved to disguised temporary paths with executable permissions and spawned detached via shell commands. The code uses runtime-assembled hostnames and telemetry-related variable names to evade detection. No integrity checks such as hash or signature verification are performed on the downloaded binary.
