Malicious code in devplatform-spa-plugin-root-sentry (npm) 0 The npm package devplatform-spa-plugin-root-sentry masquerades as a Sentry-related SPA plugin but contains malicious code. It loads a platform-specific binary payload from Cloudflare Workers hosts, saves it to temporary directories with disguised names, sets executable permissions, and executes it detached via shell commands. If the primary HTTPS download fails, it uses a DNS-TXT record fallback to reconstruct the payload from base64-encoded chunks. The package's advertised functionality is a cover for this dropper behavior. A secondary variant of the dropper exists in lib/telemetry.js but is unreferenced.
