Malicious code in beaver-ui-side-navigation (npm) 0 The npm package beaver-ui-side-navigation version 35.7.1 contains malicious code that, upon import, fetches and executes a platform-specific binary from attacker-controlled Cloudflare Workers hosts. This binary is dropped into temporary directories with obfuscated names, given executable permissions, and run without any signature verification. The package masquerades as a legitimate UI component but has no actual UI functionality. The malicious code uses string assembly to evade static detection and includes telemetry-related code to disguise its activity.
