The npm package beaver-ui-split-view version 35.1.2 contains malicious code that downloads and executes opaque binaries from dynamically reconstructed Cloudflare Workers hosts. These binaries are saved to temporary directories under misleading names, given executable permissions, and spawned detached from the main process. The package also includes a dormant payload mimicking telemetry functionality with similar malicious behavior. No integrity checks such as hash or signature verification are performed on the downloaded binaries. Any system with this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised, and all secrets and keys on that system must be rotated from a secure environment.
