The npm package bigops-telephony-ui-adapter version 35.6.4 contains malicious code that downloads and executes attacker-controlled binaries on the host system. Upon loading, it fetches platform-specific binaries from obfuscated external hosts, writes them to temporary files, sets executable permissions, and runs them detached from the parent process. This behavior results in arbitrary code execution on any system that installs or runs this package. The package does not verify the authenticity of the downloaded binaries, and the malware uses DNS TXT record fallback to retrieve payloads if HTTPS delivery fails. Systems with this package installed should be considered fully compromised, and secrets should be rotated immediately from a clean environment.
