Malicious code in bnpl-blocks-atom-bnpl-action-card (npm) 0 The npm package bnpl-blocks-atom-bnpl-action-card version 35.4.7 contains malicious code that, upon require(), downloads and executes a platform-specific binary payload from multiple obfuscated Cloudflare Workers hosts and fallback domains. This payload is saved to temporary directories with disguised filenames, made executable, and run detached from the main process. The package also drops a marker file and includes a secondary dropper script. The fetched binary is unsigned, opaque, and not version-tied. Any system with this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised, and all secrets and keys on that system must be rotated immediately from a separate, trusted machine. Removal of the package does not guarantee full remediation due to potential persistent compromise. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/05/2026, 14:58:59 UTC Added: 08/06/2026, 18:17:18 UTC |
