Malicious code in bnpl-blocks-atom-bnpl-image-popup (npm) 0 The npm package bnpl-blocks-atom-bnpl-image-popup version 35.9.6 contains malicious code that downloads and executes a binary payload from attacker-controlled servers. The payload is retrieved either via HTTPS endpoints or DNS TXT records, saved to temporary directories, and executed in a detached process. The malware includes mechanisms to evade detection and prevent repeated execution. Any system with this package installed should be considered fully compromised.
