Malicious code in dolyame-ui-dropdown (npm) 0 The npm package dolyame-ui-dropdown version 35.6.2 contains malicious code that, upon import, downloads and executes platform-specific binary payloads from obfuscated external hosts. The package uses obfuscation techniques to hide its behavior, including string splitting and reflective property access. It writes binaries to temporary directories with misleading filenames, sets executable permissions, and executes them detached from the main process. This behavior is unexpected and unjustified for a UI dropdown package, indicating a supply chain compromise or deliberate malware distribution.
