Malicious code in bigops-storio (npm) 0 The bigops-storio npm package version 35.8.7 contains malicious code that, upon being required, fetches and executes a hidden binary payload from obfuscated external endpoints. This payload is downloaded over HTTPS or reconstructed from DNS TXT records, saved to a temporary location with a hidden filename, made executable, and run detached from the parent process. The malicious executable is unrelated to the package's stated functionality and runs automatically when the library loads.
