Malicious code in devplatform-sre-devplatform-sre-core (npm) 0 The npm package devplatform-sre-devplatform-sre-core version 35.1.8 contains malicious code that downloads and executes a native binary from Cloudflare Workers hosts. The binary is disguised with benign filenames and executed with elevated permissions, enabling full remote code execution. A covert DNS-TXT channel serves as a fallback method to deliver the payload if HTTPS delivery fails. This behavior allows an attacker controlling the delivery endpoints to execute arbitrary code on any machine importing or installing this package.
