Malicious code in dlab_workshop (npm) 0 The npm package 'dlab_workshop' versions 1.0.1 through 1.0.7 contains malicious code that exfiltrates sensitive user data. It reads secret files such as SSH keys, AWS credentials, and environment configuration files from the user's home directory and working directory. The collected data is base64-encoded and sent to a hardcoded external domain associated with malicious activity. This behavior is triggered automatically during package installation and when the package is required, with no legitimate functionality present.
