Malicious code in dolyame-boxy-atom-desktop-bnpl-container (npm)
0

The npm package dolyame-boxy-atom-desktop-bnpl-container version 35.3.3 contains malicious code that downloads and executes an opaque platform-specific binary from obfuscated remote hosts. The package masquerades as a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) container but does not include legitimate functionality related to that purpose. It uses DNS TXT records as a fallback channel to bypass HTTPS egress filtering and writes the binary to system temporary directories with filenames resembling legitimate diagnostic artifacts before executing it detached from the parent process.
