Malicious code in dolyame-boxy-atom-desktop-bnpl-text (npm) 0 The npm package dolyame-boxy-atom-desktop-bnpl-text version 35.4.8 contains malicious code that silently loads a secondary script (_loader.js). This script downloads a platform-specific binary from obfuscated Cloudflare Workers hostnames or a DNS-TXT fallback, writes it to a temporary directory with disguised filenames, sets executable permissions, and executes it detached from the main process. The package exports a no-op shell class and does not provide the advertised functionality. The obfuscation techniques are designed to evade static detection.
