Malicious code in dolyame-boxy-fonts (npm) 0 The npm package dolyame-boxy-fonts version 35.4.8 contains malicious code that executes attacker-controlled binaries on the installer's machine. Upon requiring the package, it loads a loader script that reconstructs command-and-control hostnames dynamically and downloads a platform-specific binary to a temporary directory. This binary is executed without integrity verification, allowing arbitrary code execution. A sibling telemetry module provides an alternate execution path for the malicious payload. This behavior results in the execution of unauthorized code during package installation or usage. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/05/2026, 15:23:59 UTC Added: 08/05/2026, 18:47:13 UTC |
