Malicious code in dolyame-boxy-independent-bnpl-code-text (npm) 0 The npm package dolyame-boxy-independent-bnpl-code-text version 35.7.8 contains malicious code that, upon require(), downloads a platform-specific executable from obfuscated Cloudflare Workers hosts using a DNS-TXT covert channel fallback. The executable is saved to temporary directories under disguised names, given execute permissions, and launched detached via shell commands. The package attempts to disguise this behavior as opt-out telemetry with environment variable checks and a telemetry.js module that replicates the write-chmod-exec pattern.
