Malicious code in dolyame-boxy-independent-bnpl-features (npm)
0

The npm package dolyame-boxy-independent-bnpl-features version 35.9.5 contains malicious code that downloads and executes a platform-specific binary from attacker-controlled Cloudflare workers.dev endpoints. This binary is saved under disguised names in temporary directories and executed with the invoking user's privileges. The package uses obfuscation techniques to evade static analysis and lacks legitimate analytics functionality despite using a misleading flag file name. Execution is only prevented by opt-out environment variables, meaning a default installation and require will run the malicious binary.
