Malicious code in eacq-cdk (npm) 0 The npm package eacq-cdk version 35.8.1 contains malicious code that executes on require. It downloads a platform-specific executable payload from obfuscated Cloudflare Workers domains or, if that fails, via DNS TXT queries from a suspicious domain. The payload is saved to a temporary directory, made executable, and run detached, giving full host code execution to the attacker. This behavior is disguised as telemetry or analytics but is unauthorized and unrelated to any legitimate publisher.
