Malicious code in big-tss (npm) 0 The npm package [email protected] impersonates the legitimate big.js library but contains injected malicious code that silently executes a third-party module named npm-doc-dev when imported. This trojan-dropper behavior allows arbitrary code execution on the machine of anyone importing the package. The package.json declares a different dependency (npm-dc-dev) than the one actually required (npm-doc-dev), obscuring the malicious activity. The injected code is wrapped in a try/catch block that suppresses errors, making detection difficult. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/07/2026, 14:35:08 UTC Added: 08/08/2026, 14:55:07 UTC |
