Malicious code in sme-rko-finance-front-operations-feed-models (npm) 0 The npm package sme-rko-finance-front-operations-feed-models version 35.8.1 contains malicious code that downloads and executes attacker-controlled native binaries. Upon loading, it unconditionally requires a runtime script that selects a platform-specific endpoint and downloads a binary payload over HTTPS from obfuscated hosts. The payload is saved under decoy filenames mimicking dotnet diagnostic tools and executed with elevated permissions. This behavior is designed to evade static analysis and limit execution frequency.
