Malicious code in sme-rko-finance-front-operations-special-payments (npm) 0 The npm package 'sme-rko-finance-front-operations-special-payments' version 35.8.1 contains malicious code that executes immediately upon requiring the package. It downloads a platform-specific binary from multiple obfuscated cloudflare workers.dev subdomains and a fallback domain, writes it to temporary directories with hidden or disguised filenames, sets executable permissions, and spawns the binary detached from the main process. The package uses obfuscation techniques such as runtime string concatenation and base64 decoding to evade static analysis.
