Malicious code in fdhcvriwecv3 (npm) 0 The npm package 'fdhcvriwecv3' version 1.0.0 contains malicious code designed to serve obfuscated JavaScript via an HTML file. The package's main entry is an HTML file that mimics a Cloudflare interstitial page and redirects browsers to a potentially malicious '*.cloud.homes' domain. This behavior only occurs when the HTML is fetched through public npm CDNs and does not execute code during installation or import, meaning it is not a direct supply-chain attack on developers. However, the package is used as a redirector for phishing or CDN abuse. Despite this, one source claims that any system with this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised, recommending immediate secret rotation and package removal. No official patch or fix is documented. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/12/2026, 10:29:52 UTC Added: 08/12/2026, 16:11:50 UTC |
