Malicious code in @years19/n8n-nodes-utils-helper-r (npm) 0 The npm package '@years19/n8n-nodes-utils-helper-r' version 1.0.0 contains malicious code that executes both during installation and when required. The malicious payload downloads multiple tarballs containing attack tools, disables TLS certificate validation, and installs them into temporary and Python site-packages directories. It then launches long-running Python flood attack processes targeting a specific IP address. Additionally, the code collects host identity and environment information, encodes it, and exfiltrates it to a remote server. This behavior occurs even if npm install scripts are suppressed.
