Malicious code in alelo-client (npm) 0 The alelo-client npm package versions 99.0.0 and 99.0.2 contain malicious code that exfiltrates sensitive information during installation. The preinstall script collects environment details and sends them to an attacker-controlled server with disabled TLS verification. The postinstall script reads sensitive files including .env and .npmrc (which contains the npm auth token), executes system commands, and sends this data to the same server.
