Malicious code in meualelo (npm) 0 The npm package 'meualelo' version 99.0.0 contains malicious code that collects sensitive environment and system information and exfiltrates it to a hardcoded IP address. It harvests data including hostname, username, platform, current working directory, environment variables, and sensitive files such as .env and .npmrc, which may contain authentication tokens and credentials. The package disables TLS verification when sending data, increasing the risk of interception. It impersonates the Alelo Dev Team and includes a login script referencing a personal email, indicating potential brand impersonation and malicious intent.
