Malicious code in tailwind-toolkit (npm) 0 The tailwind-toolkit npm package version 1.3.2 masquerades as a Tailwind CSS plugin but contains malicious code that executes attacker-controlled payloads. When registered in tailwind.config, it makes an HTTPS request to a hardcoded IP address and executes the returned code within the Node.js process. This payload appears designed to steal browser credentials by leveraging dependencies capable of decrypting Windows DPAPI credentials and accessing browser cookie and login databases. The malicious behavior is unrelated to the advertised functionality and poses a significant risk to users who install this package.
