Malicious code in lodash-lib (npm) 0 The lodash-lib package version 1.0.0 on npm is a malicious typosquatting package. It exports an empty object but executes a postinstall script that decodes and sends platform information to a hardcoded IP address, then downloads and runs an unverified executable from a GitHub repository unrelated to the package author. This behavior includes bridging execution to Windows hosts on WSL environments. No official patch or remediation guidance is available.
