Malicious code in raectjs (npm) 0 The npm package 'raectjs' version 1.0.0 contains malicious code in its postinstall script. This script exfiltrates system information to a hardcoded IP address and downloads a malicious executable from an attacker-controlled GitHub repository. The executable is saved and executed on the victim's machine without verification. The package masquerades as a legitimate addon but contains no genuine source code and serves solely to deliver this malicious payload.
