Malicious code in streak-metric-test (npm) 0 The npm package [email protected] contains malicious code that executes a dropper payload upon import or require. The package writes a binary file to a hidden cache directory, sets executable permissions, and launches it as a detached background process. Although the current payload is inert, the mechanism is fully implemented and could be activated by populating the payload data.
