Malicious code in gfff5 (npm)
0

The npm package 'gfff5' version 1.0.0 masquerades as a system binary configuration tool but performs covert surveillance. When executed, it silently installs Python 3.12 on Windows and uses Python scripts to capture keystrokes, screenshots, clipboard data, and UI information. The collected data is sent to a hardcoded remote server. The package employs stealth techniques to hide its malicious activities from the user.
