The npm package 'jsb-adapter' version 45.0.0 contains malicious code delivered via a dependency confusion attack. The package.json declares a dependency on itself using a bare HTTPS URL pointing to an untrusted external host, allowing arbitrary code execution during installation. The shipped code is a stub, but the installation process fetches and runs code controlled by an attacker. Any system with this package installed should be considered fully compromised, and secrets should be rotated immediately.
