The npm package 'one-intuit-help-system-utils' version 45.0.0 contains a malicious self-referential dependency that points to a remote URL instead of a versioned package. This causes npm to download and execute arbitrary code from an external source during installation, bypassing integrity and publisher verification. The package itself is a stub, with the actual malicious code delivered dynamically at install time. Systems with this package installed should be considered fully compromised, and all secrets and keys on those systems should be rotated immediately.
