The npm package 'aura-instrumentation' version 45.0.0 contains malicious code that executes during installation by fetching and running code from an untrusted external URL. This package is a dependency confusion lure designed to override internal packages with the same name, leading to install-time code execution on the user's machine. Systems with this package installed should be considered fully compromised, and all secrets and keys stored on those systems must be rotated immediately.
