The npm package 'confluence-create-content' version 30.0.0 contains malicious code due to a dependency confusion attack. Its package.json declares a dependency on itself using a bare HTTPS URL instead of a version range, causing npm install to fetch and execute code from a third-party host without integrity checks. The shipped index.js is inert, but the external dependency URL delivers the malicious payload. Any system with this package installed is considered fully compromised, requiring immediate secret and key rotation and package removal.
