The npm package 'ckeditor5-ckbox' is a malicious typosquat of the legitimate '@ckeditor/ckeditor5-ckbox' plugin. It contains no CKEditor functionality and instead executes a preinstall script that collects detailed system information from the installer machine. This information is then sent to a hardcoded external domain controlled by the attacker. The package is identified as version 5.0.0 and lacks author and description metadata.
