The npm package 'fuels-versions' version 1.0.0 contains malicious obfuscated code that collects system information and sends it to a remote server. This package appears to be a typosquatting or dependency confusion attempt targeting the Fuel Labs ecosystem. Execution of the package's CLI sends the installer's username, hostname, and platform details to an attacker-controlled URL. Systems with this package installed or executed should be considered fully compromised, and all secrets and keys on those systems should be rotated immediately. Removal of the package alone may not eliminate all malicious components. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/31/2026, 00:00:00 UTC Added: 09/03/2026, 15:16:47 UTC |
