The npm package 'order-package-saas' versions 999.0.0 and 999.0.1 contains malicious code that executes during the postinstall hook. This code collects sensitive secrets and credentials from various common configuration files and environment variables, including private keys, cloud credentials, tokens, and API keys. It then encodes this information and exfiltrates it over HTTPS to a Telegram bot endpoint and over HTTP to an IP address. The malicious behavior includes evasion techniques such as delaying execution and skipping execution in test or CI environments. This package is identified as a dependency-confusion lure targeting internal packages. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 09/01/2026, 17:26:11 UTC Added: 09/02/2026, 15:48:45 UTC |
