The npm package tailwindcss-contact-forms masquerades as a Tailwind CSS forms plugin but contains heavily obfuscated malicious code. Upon requiring the package, it executes code that enables arbitrary command execution and communicates with Ethereum blockchain endpoints for command-and-control signaling. This behavior is inconsistent with legitimate CSS plugin functionality and poses a risk of unauthorized code execution and data exfiltration.
