The npm package @hrmony/pladddform-codegen version 49.99.0 is a malicious typosquat that exfiltrates sensitive AWS and Kubernetes credentials and environment data to a hardcoded attacker-controlled endpoint. It performs multiple credential-harvesting actions including querying the AWS instance metadata service, enumerating environment variables, and reading Kubernetes secrets. The package is part of a dependency-confusion style campaign and should be considered fully compromising any system where it is installed.
